VoIP provider Fring has become the first company to offer VoIP capability for the iPhone. While the app is only available to jailbroken iPhones, and Fring is calling for customers to provide them with feedback as they prepare to launch a more widely available version.

According to the ZDnet report, "Fring features to make free calls over WiFi to users of Skype, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo!, AIM and, of course, Fring on your iPhone. Fring also offers enjoy rich, IM-style chat over your Internet connection for the low, low price of nothing."
