Google Setting Up Blogger HQ at Conventions

The Democratic National Convention is set to start next week in Denver next week, with the Republicans' convention to follow shortly after in Minneapolis. This election year, more bloggers and other new media creators than ever will be descending on the conventions, and Google will be housing them in a 8,000 square foot facility.

According to the Wall Street Journal report, "With its financial support for the "Big Tent" blogger facility at the Democratic convention, Google stands to gain exposure and goodwill from 500 or so bloggers who paid $100 for access to the facility, run by a coalition of bloggers. Google's software and services will be featured, including a kiosk in the public area of the tent where anyone can post videos on YouTube."
