Social Text 3.0 Brings More Social Tools to Work

Long seen as a leader in the world of enterprise wikis, Socialtext has launched a new service that adds additional social media tools.  Socialtext 3.0 includes a "Facebook-like" feature, as well as a user dashboard that will allow users to customize their experience.

Many bloggers are excited about the potential addition of a microblogging application down the road. Socialtext has confirmed that such a feature is nearing completion, and the company hopes that it will stand out from Yammer and others through the benefits of integration with other Socialtext features.
