TypePad Offers "Bailout" to Journalists

by Chip Griffin on November 20, 2008

Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to a company for an online marketing job well done. So today, I lift mine to TypePad for their Journalist Bailout Program.

Playing off of two of prominent stories of these economic times — government bailouts and faltering media empires — TypePad is offering free accounts along with a few other bells and whistles to journalists (employed or otherwise). It simply takes a link to the last published piece of the individual to qualify.

TypePad says the response has been so strong it may take a day or two after signing up to get approved.
